Default scale: 1/56 (28mm)

The village seemed to be organized in a strict hierarchy. The lowest level, in terms of decision-making, was children and newcomers who hadn’t yet established themselves and their value. Then there were adults, who basically governed themselves going about their daily duties as hunters, weavers, or farmers. But when the decision was big enough or hard enough, when it potentially affected the entirety of the Tribe or required contact with other Tribes or spirits, those decisions were in the hands of the Elders. The main council was made of three people and even though they were known to consult with other wise elders, they had the privilege and responsibility of power. The Chief was in charge of tribe politics, contacts with different Tribes, and resolving any inner conflicts that may occur. The Beastmaster oversaw tribe hunts, catching, and training of the great boars, and the work of their riders. And Shaman was solely responsible for contacting the spirits in any situation the Tribe may need them. They were present at births and funerals, they officiated weddings and rituals of entering adulthood. The shaman was also in charge of annual rituals that ensured the spirits’ benevolence during hunts, good crops, and mild winters.

Invite those elders onto your tabletop to add both realism and maybe a bit of magic to your campaign.
