Arturo created this magnificent piece and won our first diorama competition, based around the theme “There is always light in the shadows”. Check out his other works at: https://www.instagram.com/arturo.arellano.sutek/

Quoting Arturo Arellano:

This diorama is heavily inspired by the events told in the Bree supplement for the The One Ring RPG. No digital or artificial effects. The Greenway Guard is scaled to 115% for scale matching purposes. Hope you like it

“The padlock rattles in the lock, windows and doors are shuttered and outside, in the last light of twilight, an owl answers the call of the night. The time for the watch has come.

The moon spies between the branches of the trees, which reach out towards the watchman with dark fingers caressing the shadow that falls behind him. But he is not afraid. A warm light pours from his lamp like a healing fire, bathing his boots, his face and his hands, and traces a path through the darkness. A golden nectar that warms the heart and strengthens the spirit in times of need.

Behind the watchman the shadows close like an impenetrable wall, populating the world with horrors that laugh and crawl, and stalk the unsuspecting, awaiting their chance.”
